What you can report on

Domain Authority
Moz's 0-100 domain strength score — the DA number clients and agencies have quoted for a decade.
Linking domains
Unique root domains pointing at the client's site — the footprint behind authority movement.
Spam score
Moz's risk flag on the link profile — worth reporting when link-building is part of the engagement.

Key-based entry, manual metrics

Moz connects by storing API credentials against the client's target domain. Live report widgets aren't built yet — read the figures from Link Explorer and enter them into the report's manual metric widgets.

DA in the same report as DR and AS

Clients quoting Moz DA sit alongside agencies using Ahrefs DR or SEMrush Authority Score. With live Ahrefs, SEMrush and SE Ranking widgets plus manual Moz figures, the report can carry whichever authority scale the client knows — labelled by source so the scales never conflate.

Authority beside outcomes

An authority score alone is abstract to most clients. Place it next to Search Console clicks and GA4 organic sessions so the report reads links-earned → authority-moving → traffic-changing as one story.

How it works

  1. 01

    Open Link Explorer

Read the client's Domain Authority, linking domains and spam score for the period.

  2. 02

    Enter into manual widgets

Type the figures into the report's manual metric widgets in the SEO section.

  3. 03

    Pair with outcomes

Place the figures beside organic clicks and sessions so authority movement connects to traffic.

Frequently asked questions

Does Moz data pull live?

Not today — the connection stores the credentials but live Moz widgets aren't built yet. Ahrefs, SEMrush and SE Ranking do pull live authority metrics.

Should I report DA or DR?

Report whichever the client already tracks — and label it. DA (Moz), DR (Ahrefs) and AS (SEMrush) are different scales; never mix them in one figure.

How much does ReportingBee cost?

Starter is £9.99/month for your first client and £3.99/month for each extra client, capped at ten client slots (£45.90/month). The Agency plan is £49/month flat with unlimited clients.
